Faux fur by the meter, longhaired, light blue, 100% synthetic
This long-haired faux fur is very soft, economical, and it will allow you all the fantasies! This very soft synthetic fur fabric is distinguished by the length of its yeti-style fur (70mm) and is available in an infinite choice of colours.
Here is the perfect faux fur fabric for all your projects of costumes and disguises for the carnival, but also to trim your parkas hoods, or to make big fluffy and coloured cushions! This long-haired faux fur can also be used to create jackets and vests.
You like the colour but you want a version of this faux fur fabric with a shorter hair? Just as cheap, this range is identical in terms of quality and composition, but with a pile height of 14 mm. I made a set of furpaws using this fur and another short pile salmon-pink when trying a new pattern. I can only say that these long pile low-price furs are only generally good for prototyping. Trimming down the fur is difficult, but you really shouldn’t. The fur density is rather thin, in the sense that the backing will show when folding the fibers over. Combing the fur is difficult to impossible as the fibers are rather rough and intertwined. The fur fibers don’t stay put when stroking them to keep them down. When making paws that move a lot, the fibers will stand up again. On a positive note; the backing is strong, sewing shouldn’t be a problem.
Mind you, I don’t fault it for its bad qualities. It is expected from a cheaper faux fur. I would give the fur 5 stars since I think it’s worth considering if quality isn’t an issue or you’re doing some prototyping. But it drops with 2 stars, because it fluffs up when moving, it’s hard to trim, and near impossible to comb.

Thanks for your detailed and useful feedback. Our range AC356 is the most used by our customers making fursuits and cosplays, we display several ways of using it in our portfolio (https://www.fakefurshop.com/photo-gallery/). The fact is, as you explain it there very well, the more dense a fur fabric is, the easiest it is to trim and the more its fibers will stay put. In order to help our customers about that, we display that density information on all of our product pages.
